Rodgers should be giving the bloke (who looked really good when he came on) a severe kick up the arse, instead of complaining about the decision.
It doesn't matter whether the Basle player feigned injury to his eye; the fact is that the intention was to hit him in the face, and he just could have blinded him. Whatever happened to the football equivalent of "brotherhood of man"? I just don't understand the mentality these days. Do players have a good laugh after the match if they've broken a player's leg? Do the Vinnies Joneses and Fash the Bash say "Yeh - I finished at least 4 players' careers, me. Soft bastards!"
