I largely agree SGB ....... but I would always be critical of MA, or any other manager. I've got my own ideas. That doesn't mean they are better, but occasionally they might be worth a pause for thought, as would yours. But I can't see where we would recruit someone who would certainly be better than MA. Maybe we could look at a team that is being successful lower down, like say Stamford, pinch some up-and-comer/s, and hope that like Lincoln City we'd be bringing in people with a magic wand. But how long did Lincoln languish down here before they solved the problem, and was it judgement or dumb luck?
I would say MA does seem VERY old-fashioned and I'm worried that now Plan A hasn't worked he's hitting the random button hoping a Plan B will emerge. But I'm sure he wants to be open, that his heart is in the right place and that he does care. He has also succeeded in doing exactly what we want in the past. And there is something I like about him. I can imagine that playing for him you'd want to win the game. And I am sure that despite our avalanche of defeats this is a man who is looking to win (and I've honestly not been sure that was a priority for our last two managers).
