The trouble is we look easy to stop and MA hasn't given us a way to score goals yet.
Fortune's strength apparently is his guile, but because of the way he is being fed he has no way to use it. Lee Shaw says his strength is buzzing about, disrupting the opposition and picking up the pieces. He can't do that if the ball weren't over his head. He might even be a big beneficiary of Fortune's guile. And I'm sorry but I'm convinced Zavon is going to hit another flat spot.
We've spent two seasons and a half seasons just hoping goals would come. We surely have to have a way of attacking and we can't just rely on Carter. How many can he possibly score? Fifteen, turn himself into Frank Lampard and get 20 from midfield? We need another forward and another midfielder. I don't think we need a new manager, but we do need him to be more Mad Dog don't we?
And I'll just add here that Ricky German scored two more for Hendon. That's seven he's got before the end of August. They think enough of him to have entrusted him with taking a penalty too ......... which he slotted very coolly apparently! HARRRUMMMPH!
