Blue, I agree with you on this one, and we are seeing the same problem here. Unfortunately extremism on one side nowadays attracts opposition from the extremism on the other side!! While I cannot stand Trump, if the Democrats over here want to defeat him they must do it with dignity, some humour and by envigorating the voters to get out and beat him at the ballot box!! Nothing would hurt Trump’s ego more than him being soundly beaten in an election!
American politics desperately needs some moderate Democrats and Republicans to make concerted efforts to run for office, there are far too many from the loony left and religious right who are dictating the news cycle every day.
