He cant jump to head a ball, he doesn't seem to have a shot in him and has a touch like a baby elephant but the one thing he was good at (about the only thing) was holding the ball up to bring others into play.
It looks as though Ugwu will be spearheading our attack so is there a role for COG playing in a kind of 4-3-1-2 behind a front 2? His height and bulk could be useful as he seems to not get bullied off the ball and also could be useful defending set pieces.
I would much rather see him move on but it looks unlikely he will be doing, so do we send our highest paid player home or have him as a bench warmer or try and find a role for him in a structured team? He must have something somewhere that I have missed because he has played at a higher level and didn't seem to be as poor as he was for us last season.
If he turns out to be our backup for Ugwu then I really fear for our safety but could there be a place for him other than with another club?
Not convinced Ugwu is the finished article either. Mind you saw him at Luton and I thought he was non-league so we may have something. Time will tell.
