I’m usually against an interim becoming permanent because it rarely works out in the long term but if Big Dave finishes with 8-10 or more points from his 6 matches then he should definitely be considered at the very least.
If he isn’t considered then it is imperative that he is kept on next season as First Team Coach or Assistant. His knowledge of the player’s strengths and weaknesses and the best formation and tactics to use with them will be a big help for the new man coming in.
One thing is for certain, he has a bright future as a Coach whether it’s with WBA or elsewhere.
