Despite the problems at Horwich Parkway station we had no problems on the trains I was on, spoke to a few Hull fans on the way back and everyone got on well.
He said: “For over 40 years I have followed Huddersfield Town and on Saturday I took the trip to Bolton Wanderers. As well as it being a rare away trip, what was also unusual was that I travelled by train. This was in order that I could meet up more easily with a friend. I left my house with a feeling of great excitement and anticipation."
2 points- firstly I get the impression this chap travels with the TravelClub as a general rule, a place where anything other than a flask of coffee and a round of sandwiches is frowned upon.
Secondly- he left the house with a feeling of great excitement and anticipation.....which team has he been watching this season
