We do look more up for it, but we're really lacking quality.
With the exception of Brunt, nobody is looking to create and too many people just looking for the safe ball. Way too many passengers who are just waiting for their summer holidays.
Nyom, who is only any good at marauding forward IMO has spent most of his time in line with the central defenders - we might as well get McAuley on and Dawson right back, at least we would carry threat from set play.
Rondon and Rodrgiuez have had some reasonable balls up to them, but would struggle to trap a bag of sand. Their wayward layoffs seem to be Swansea's best form of attack.
McClean seems content to just keep delivering crosses off the defenders shins. He might be a winger by name, but he couldn't beat an egg.
Phillips looks like he wants the ground to open up and eat him. He just wants to get rid of the ball. His defending for the Swansea chance was an absolute joke. Basic give and go by Clucas and Phillips just jogs off in another direction. Honestly, if you did that in my Sunday morning team you would get a roasting. I do think he's one of our better footballers, but I'm afraid his defensive awareness is far too poor for a 4-4-2.
From a positive point of view, Swansea look equally sh*te and missed an absolute sitter. Maybe we can win based on how inept the opposition are.
