if you do black friday right you can get some really good deals, my wife goes black friday shopping but is very particular about where she shops, she avoids any of the big box stores with the silly door buster deals , she goes to the smaller places have have really good sales and picks up quality stuff dirt cheap, usually stocks up on winter clothes for the kids ( a must in minnesota) and the occasional christmas pressie

this year her savings were about 60 % off regular retail

honestly though i dont know why they dont just wait until friday and run it through saturday and sunday
