Checking here everyday, reading anything Albion and listening to phone ins are part of my everyday routine.
I agree the game's gone mad and it's going to get worse but my love for it will always be there, I think it's in my blood and I'll always be the same, I'm still as interested and still care as much as when I went home and away when I was younger, streaming of games these days is another reason I'd hate us to go down, while we're in the Prem you can watch every ball we kick.
Also another very good post.
The part I've bolded is a bit of a pet hate though, if I'm honest.
So much was made of the dwindling numbers under Pulis and as someone who goes regularly home and away as much as possible (more so for the past 5-6 years since getting a job where the weekends are always free) I haven't seen the attendances increase massively since Pulis left; and that has partly got to be down to the fact that it's easier and cheaper just to watch a stream.
Totally understand there's very valid reasons for doing this, living away from the area, financial limitations, personal commitments etc etc. It's just a bit disheartening and is playing a huge part in why football is becoming crap for fans that do go to the games, we're not the people being catered to anymore.
Case in point - Bournemouth away at Huddersfield this weekend. One of the longest journeys in the league this season, moved to a 12 o clock KO on a Sunday to appease the armchair masses on "Super Sunday". Have a look at the coach times for the poor sods who can only afford to use the coach to get to this game link. Every Cherries fan going on those coaches deserves respect of the highest order.
Not a dig at you at all Bomber by the way, just a little grumble about the League and TV companies not giving two shits about the fans that follow, week in, week out.
