Leeds Utd launches a new club badge at lunchtime and by 2pm there are more than 9,000 signatures petitioning against it!
The badge appears to be of a white man with his arm across his chest. It has been been described as Mussolini-esque on the radio and in the twitter storm that ensued its launch. Sexist and racist spring to my mind.
The club claims to have consulted 10,000 fans but none contacting Radio Leeds seem to know anything about it.
As an outsider, I think it confirms what the rest of us assume most of their fans to be.
