"GC's Lambrini" insults a cheap plonk. Lambrini has sparkle and you know exactly what you are getting - pop with a bit of alcohol. GC and his players had no sparkle and the only thing you knew with any certainty was that they were a good bet to do an Orient. There was no fizz, no pop and nothing to numb the brain other than their on field performances.

You repeated many times what a good interview GC gave and that he knew his stuff and just needed more time and you were convinced he would come good. You drooled over his summer signings - especially COG. What you are now saying is that he must have known what he was doing because the players he brought in are finally coming good? Well who brought them in, was it "Calders or Branners"? Either way makes no difference to me they were both out of their depth and blagging it.

Now we have somebody who has managed to turn a complete mish mash of signings into some kind of a team and in doing so has performed a bloody miracle in my mind.
