I am pleased that fans are giving Pulis credit for what he has achieved at the club. It is becoming increasingly difficult for managers outside the top clubs to last more than a year at their clubs.
I have admired Pulis' ability for a while but the dire football is only tolerable if he gets results; the club has shown patience but this day had to come.
I hope the new man can give us the bounce to get us out of the mire and I hope Pulis does not go to a club that leapfrogs us and pushes us down.
I think we have dodged a bullet with Coleman going to Sunderland. I agree that Koeman is one of the better options. Whether he comes or not, is arguable. Whoever comes, I hope they have some experience of Premier League or higher league football behind them. With several crucial fixtures coming up I hope our board has done some preparation and that we do not have to wait as long as Everton have, for a replacement.
