In fifteen years in and out of this league, only one man has steered us to safety for three consecutive seasons, and with room to spare on each occasion. It's no mean feat, and he deserves praise and recognition for it, irrespective of the poor entertainment value. But this year was a year too far, and I only hope we can properly move on now and put the days of stale negative football behind us.
