Not sure how the expectation that people should be treated as individuals rather than absurd, factually incorrect 19th century stereotypes qualifies as "political correctness", but hey ho. Each to their own, I suppose.
I should clarify that the above comment is specifically made in regards to Dave Whelan, who I think should explain his pathetic, clichéd comment about Jewish people in exactly the same way that Anelka had to explain the quenelle. At what point did challenging this kind of bullshit bigotry become something to be moaned about?
Mackay I just think has a dodgy sense of humour, and would save himself a lot of trouble by just holding his hands up, admitting that and then saying "judge me by my actions, not my jokes". And I say that as someone no stranger to the odd old-fashioned joke, but always happy to be judged by the same criteria.
