Just outside Oakamoor - very near Alton Towers, though that's no attraction to me (but last year we saw about 90% of their firework display without paying a penny)

Nice little village is Oakamoor BV, with the Cricketers Arms being a typical local. The Holy Trinity Church is in the benefice of St Werburgh’s Kingsley, Rev Carol Richardson. By coincidence, a very good friend of mine, Preb Lawrence Price (Rtd) used to be Vicar at St Werburgh’s and did Services at Holy Trinity, Oakamoor. Nice part of the world and not far from the physical Moorlands and about 20mins from where we live in Leek.
