A denial usually means it is true.
It is terrible to feel this way.
I can't want us to lose even to be rid of the worst manager of my lifetime.
When you read about teams saying this about a manager I always wonder what if he wins both games and then slips back to losing every week.
Has Mr Carson given himself two weeks to turn his own performance round?
I hate all this. I want to be looking forward to Joe Rowley buzzing around in our midfield and earning rave reviews. I want to read about Ricky German breaking through with a burst of goals, of Charlie Wakefield's quieter progress in front of a crowd that is taking him to its heart. I want to read that DA is going to do this or that for definite and that is the way the club is going. I want to feel the club is capable of staying in the league and is looking up not down. And oh I'd like to hear that a young manager sees us as an ideal opportunity and would like to take us into the Championship before I die .........
But I still want us to win Saturday, but I do know it is a forlorn hope.
