After being a season-ticketer for many years pre-seating the whole place has changed dramatically.
Sadly I simply cannot afford a season ticket so I go when I can (4 or 5 a season)
When I had my first ST in the early 70's
(a) I was spoilt absoluteley rotten with beautiful football
(b) I had Bowie and Roxy to look up to (and punk to come
) (insert your own band) it was tribal
© If you didn't sing, you felt out of it - it wasn't forced you just had to
(d) The Brummie WAS The Albion End
In answer to the question - it takes effort,
I think everyone who supports The Mighty Baggies wants to shout from the rooftops but sitting down does not encourage it
Quite simply that's why away fans sound louder - they don't sit down (and I hate it)
