We have had a good week and full credit has to go to GC and co for the excellent planning and preparation. We now need to start to step it up against better class opposition and we still need those one or two established midfielders to make the squad complete then I really will be getting excited .Ive stood in the minority against the criticism of GC and made the case that we should judge him this season when he has his own squad and Im sure everyone will agree the signings he has made so far have looked decent and I'm absolutely certain the squad will prove to be better than last seasons whilst reducing the budget.
One footnote to tonights team ,are we still looking for a goalkeeper ?

Yeah the first half team was much better than the second but both teams which were sent out did well.

Goalkeeping issue I don't know. It is a bit of a weird one. Is the club worried Tommy won't be fit in time and won't risk Parkin on the bench?
