In the case of Harris, he started off hugging the right touch line. Then he ended up in a CF's role for about 15 mins. Then he played in an inside left position. Then he scored his goal from the left wing and his pace 'made the goal' - cut in from the left, sold a 'dummy' to his FB opponent before passing him and still almost wanted to pass the ball instead of hitting it hard n low just inside Saints' near post - a good goal but figure that one out eh - a multi-positional player eh lol!!

Yep lol! IMO it just confirms it was a bounce game full of experimentation and no real impetus to seriously win a game of footie. How much was this tourney worth to the club or the players anyway? IMO not a lot TBF! However, one thing that was noticeable during and after the match was the significant number of Hibs fans who were giving Lennon pelters and I must say I can't blame them and, as you say, he'd better sort out this issue pronto, the main prob being the lack of various Hibs players not scoring the requisite goals we need after dominating games and creating lotsa scoring opportunities!! As I've said many times before. we can't solely depend on Jason's goals to win a Championship title - he's not prolific enough but he will significantly contribute towards Hibs lifting the title if other players join in the potential goal fest.

He said: “We’re losing to St Mirren at home and that shouldn’t be happening. I think some of them are hiding at the minute. It’s definitely a psychological thing, it’s not a physical thing.
“In the main, I’m not getting what I want from the players so that’s something I need to address.
“It (the winning goal) should never get to that position in the first place. It’s nonsense from us, it’s amateur stuff and it needs to stop.
“It’s senior players as well with no thought about what they’re doing. Maybe I need to look at myself and ask what I’m doing wrong but we train them as well as we can.”
I'm wondering if these players are missing stubbsy's nicey-nicey approach. Certainly lennon doesn't 'spare the rod' and i like how he calls it as he sees it. But he needs to play his part to sort this out, and it sounds from some of his comments that he isn't really sure how. a poor result next weekend and i can see the doubts start to creep in.

You're right jim! I think we're either on the brink of a poor result v Raith or the players have a chance to improve things, win a winnable game and push on from there. I'm unsure how it will unfold because certain Hibs players are not performing at the level that I'd expect them to do it! It may well be psychological and 'living with the favourites' tag'. Bottom line - we need to score a lot more goals than we've been converting in the past four fixtures!!

The next 2 or 3 games should tell us if Lennon is going to get a positive reaction or not from the players. I'm hoping for signs of improvement.
