Most importantly, Jason stays at the club and that confirms Leeann's recent interference when she said no transfer will be considered at this time, thereby ensuring stability and full concentration on trying to win the Championship. I think she and Lenny both know that Jason will be banging in lotsa goals this season and that will raise his profile and 'asking price' anyway. The one concern is that a major injury could scupper everything but that's a footie risk that will always exist in such a positive position.

Out sharing a few beers last night wi th a old pal & got talking about our beloved team Hibernian Fc. Talking about players coming & going and I then asked him who he thought HFC best signing has been. He paused and said without doubt ...........
LEANNE DEMPSTER.

And honestly when you think about it he's right she came to our club when we where down & out but look at us now. What a difference she has made to Hibernian fc Thumb up

Dempster had a good relationship with stubbs and they both represented the club well after some of the debacles with butcher and fenlon and it looks like the good relationship is continuing with lennon. They are both on the "same page" so to speak about getting us back up and how to go about it and i get the vibe that was shared from the interview stage onwards.

We had to be smart with the budget this season, and i think we have done well. Lennon and dempster have brought in guys on loan and on frees who won't be on huge money but who have something to prove and are a bit streetwise. Its been a good window keeping Cummings as well, who as we all know has a lot of goals in him but needs to improve his all round game and concentration.

From what I've heard garry parker is a very good coach (he was a very decent player too in his time) and the players are enjoying working with the new staff.

It's a happy camp and it's looking good Thumb up

apparently we have taken neal eardley on trial. Right sided player with 16 caps for wales but injury has kept his appearances down to the minimum over the last few seasons.

It looks like a poss cute piece of business to cover David Gray's position - a surprise move!

Has had his fair share of injuries , especially with knee ligaments so will have to prove his fitness. Guys on Birmingham City Board say he wouldn't last a series of games so best not to touch......lets see what NL makes of it all.

Nahhhh! The absence of strict liability in Scottish footie is a 'key factor' in no action being taken.
