Get a few players in, get a few players out,
Is he the son of Tony Hately, the old England and Rangers striker?

The very one. He also played for Motherwell and Tranmere I think.

Currently with a club in Poland.

No he's not he's the son of Mark Hately ex Rangers and England,Tony Hately is his grandfather

He's kinda veered away from family traditions of playing as a striker but looks like a decent signing all the same if Neil Lennon can 'pull it off' and sign the last of the three players who he hoped to bring in before the end of August. By the way, I did mean to say Mark Hately - Tony Hately was from another footie era altogether and clearly of a different age group.

Even worse - he's left the club by mutual consent! Just too much competition for places from better Hibs players than him. I wish him well and hope he finds a club that suits his own level and physique.

TBO 0762 I could never get my head round why Alan Stubbs signed him in the first place he looked like a 12 year old playing in a mans team to lightweight to make it with HFC. Only my opinion tho

He had 2 pretty serious injuries, very hard to judge his quality. The coaching staff have clearly thought its unlikely he is going to do it for us.

Looks like that might be the last of the in's/outs this window.

Yep! Your view of Carmichael is very similar to my own opinion when he first played at ER v Dumbarton(?). I suggested a similar critical observation to my son that the player looked so lightweight and just arrived from schools footie. I never rated his chances of 'making it' based on that initial observation.
