Sparky has certainly been given a well earned rest from Scotland duties and he'll be whooping it up next week at the cup final with his Lochend and Bingham mates!! He'll need a couple of weeks recovery after that pub crawling escapade eh lol! It's a pity we couldnae sneak his name into Stubbs' team sheet for that final and resolve our prob re the missing prolific pen box striker! Rolleyes

I can assure I have 'got over it' a long time ago Fredster!! He does not play for Hibs FC any more but he's still a Hibs fan who will be at Hampden Park with his mates. Hibs problem of missing a prolific pen box striker was the main point being made and most Hibs readers on this board realise that fact and know that he is the last Hibs striker who 'satisfied the bill' and provided us with great memories of 'the main ingredient' that has been missing this season - a prolific striker!!

Explicit intentions like that can change inside a week Fresdster esp when you are a Hibs fan within a fanatical Hibs family and group of friends lol! Wink  Depends who you talk to as well lol! Anyway I'll definitely be there in spite of the shambolic ticketing arrangements that Hibs had set up! Embarrassing what!!!

McGinn in the squad for tonight's match v Italy in Valletta, Malta but not even on the bench because of a groin tweak - no surprise to me for reasons previously mentioned. However, he might recover for the next 'friendly' v France.

FT v Italy - a 1-0 loss and Scotland 'as flat as a pancake' - end of season stuff, time for a vacation! I don't think we had a single shot on goal!

Players were in full on holiday mode. Pointless exercise.
