0-0 after 25 mins, not watching it as its not on over here but according to the Beeb we have had 83% possession but so far no shots on target!!

Watching the first half online and that's it, I've seen enough of the same old dinosaur tactics. England struggling to control the ball never mind pass it. Woy learns nothing, and these prima donnas again are not miles apart from their Estonian counterparts.
This is probably one of the few times Estonia will look like a decent side, they're chasing the ball, closing us down and applying pressure. England make a lot of these kind of teams look decent.

Finally we get a shot on target and it results in a goal!!! 1-0 England, Rooney the scorer!! I suppose after such an inept performance, particularly up font its now just important to get the three points and move on!!
Well, that didn't sound good at all. Defence seemed ok but Estonia hardly had the ball anyway!! The three points is what count, so its three out of three and so far so good as regards the results!! Performance - not so good but winning is the main thing!!

In the last few days, Spain & Germany have crashed to shock defeats & Holland were close to being humbled at home by Kazakstan so the fact that we won relatively untroubled is surely a good thing.

Spain & Germany are allowed a rare shock defeat due to the fact they play wonderful football and usually win. Our prima donnas struggle against bankers and swimming pool cleaners. Footballers on a tenth of what our lot are paid, yet somehow almost equal in skill and we do this EVERY game.
If we were in a group with slightly better teams than Estonia & San Marino, we'd be 2nd or 3rd ![]() How it's not possible to see the same old same old is beyond me. Woy is a joke just like England and it's only the English that don't seem to get the punch line. MS, I understand you want to see the positives in the game, nothing wrong with that at all. But surely you can see this for what it is, and not what it appears to be? Until we change the way our prehistoric FA and crony boys club works, we are and always will be, a joke.

I think the fact we have won 3 out of 3 is definitely a good thing but the performances have not been what we would want to see!! I do think we are missing Sturridge, he is the one true goalscorer that we currently have and for me is quite a way above what Welbeck and Rooney bring in front of goal. The one saving grace for me is the relative youth of the team, they should be able to develop as a group and I would expect to see the performances improve, but ultimately its about winning games so as long as they do that I am ok.
Needless to say there were no winners of the Score/Scorer or total minutes of goals, but currently everyone has got the first result of the other score correct!! Two more games today, I will update later.

Ok, so after todays results the other scores stands at ADH with two games tomorrow. Wereham is the only one with the first three, lets see if he can get the other two as well!!
On a separate note, Iceland beat Holland 2-0 tonight, so they along with Germany and Spain all lost in this batch of games. Gives us a little comfort in England being played 3, won 3!!!

THe poorer teams are getting relatively better (except San Marino, Luxemburg & Gibraltor) so every match is a potential banana skin. Holland lost in Iceland while we move forward scerenely. When we have Sturridge & Barkley back, we should be more dynamic. We are some way off being a tournament winning team but we are better placed than we have been since 1966 so who knows.
