International Thread - England v Estonia Sunday 5pm UK time - St Charles Owl - 10-10-2014 While Thurnscoe is on his sabbatical I am doing the International thread. Quickly on the heels of the San Marino victory we find England making their way to the Baltic states for their second away game of the group qualifiers!! The two teams were also drawn against each other for qualifying in Euro 2008, with England winning matches both in Tallinn and then at Wembley in 2007 by 3-0 scorelines. Peter Crouch, Joe Cole, Wayne Rooney, Shaun Wright-Phillips and Michael Owen were among England’s goalscorers in the two games. They are the only two previous matches between the two nations. As far as I can see England picked up no further injuries from the San Marino game so I do not expect the team to change that much from that one. Woy did make 2 half time substitutions, bringing on the Ox and Lallana for Sterling and Henderson, so it will be interesting to see if he sticks with the two who came on in the starting line up. I would expect the team to be: Hart Chambers, Cahill, Jagielka, Baines Sterling, Lallana, Wilshere, Milner Rooney, Welbeck Thurnscoe_OWL's League for people who care about this shit We got multiple winners from the last game with OwlKev picking up two ![]() Here's the current standings: kev ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() washington ![]() ![]() ![]() thurnscoe ![]() ![]() raf ![]() ![]() 3 Sleeping up for grabs again 1) Score and scorer (no copying and no 0-0 draws) 2) total minutes of goals 3) Games of other interest (same as Maddix's threads, you know the HDA thingy) The games of interest are scattered across three days but have a go at these: Lithuania v Slovenia (Sunday) Bosnia-Herzegovina v Belgium (Monday) Norway v Belgium (Monday) Poland v Scotland (Tuesday) - go Stevie May!!!
