Hey, Wagner told them the way it was going to be and they all bought into it (supposedly). Scoring a goal and setting one up does not guarantee you a starting place, especially when your first job is a defender, which he isn't brilliant at. You would have to be dumb and blind not to see that he can't lace Chilwell's boots. Agreed nowt to choose between him and Husband. Hell even Powell benched Wells straight after he scored a hat trick. We let better fullbacks like Callum Wilson and the lad that went back to Dundee Utd go in my opinion.

Deano just revealed we have two continental players signed up for next season. Won't say who though.

do we think that will be all for continental signings or do we think there will be more to boot?

We could get the odd Jock, Taff or Paddy, they all count as Internationals and foreigners these days.

that is true snoots, but if we only have two then they could possibly become quite isolated, vlp will be our only true foreigner in the squad (going on karim leaving, wells having spent a large time over here and skippy probably hopping off) plus vlp has spent a fair amount of time over here too. i'd say these two plus maybe one more senior foreigner and maybe two younger ones through the door ala dempsey and develop them.
you dont want too many but you want too few that they are alienated

sounds like the summer business is in full flow, as long as the continental players are of a better caliber than Christian Lopez we should be OK
i think the Deano talking about not wanting to have cliques form in the squad might be a back hand reference to the old scousers club we had at the club

Speaking of Scouse mafia's. As the weather is still cold, both Vaughan and Beckford remain injured as per normal at this one time of year. Physios room is much warmer than the training ground and pitch. Expect miracle recoveries just after Easter. One of them may not be a Scouser but lies in the same bed.

Do not know if Dean mentioned it on Friday but I'm lead to believe that Boothy let slip last week that we are signing a premiership player who by all accounts will surprise the Town fans when they reveal his name
