Rumour mill down these parts rumbling that we've signed Van la Dickhead Parra on loan from Wolves. Not sure what our X-box and Football Manager wizz kids make of him but the Old Gold'n'Black mob will mostly be happy to see him go. Then again - they've fequently been on Coady's case for a while.

He played well against us the other week. Can't see him coming though, unless someone else is off out.

Isn't VLP a winger?
If so then why do we need another winger?
Scannell,Bunn,Manu,Lolley...more than enough cover

That's what I thought when it was originally rumoured we were after him in January. We sent the bone idle one back to Boro early (now at L666s of course) saying we had enough cover. Bit more polite than saying he was only any good for 10 minutes a match I suppose. Big Grin Previous managers of ours were obsessed with midfielders, I think we had enough to field a full team of them at one point. This one seems to have a thing for wingers. It's another bloody goal scorer and a bit more class/speed in the back 4 that we need.  Angry

Vlp has signed on loan which turns permanent in the summer.

So will he be an "Offside Clyde" or a class act in the Dean Gorre mould?

Not sure about VLP - clearly has talent, but he hasn't been getting rave reviews by the Wolves fans!

Like any player though, he should be given a chance.

I hope Wagner has got this one right though, because I am not sure that Matmour or Manu enhance our squad enough. Is either Matmour or Manu better than either a Scannell, Bunn or Paterson? I don't think so, so we need another 3 better than those 3 if the squad is to improve!

I see Jordy scored a couple yesterday - not good enough yet for us, struggling to score goals at the wrong end of the Championship, but good enough to score a couple for a team we likely will be playing against next season.
