He pushed Hooper in the back with only the goalie to beat. Denied a clear goal scoring opportunity and had to go under the current rules however harsh some of us may think it was.

And if we beat preston i cant see why not ? we will take on a piss poor Qpr team after that and then the Big question will be for answering at hull !! who lets face it are hull ???

7pts in the next 3 games and we will be either 3rd or 2nd ? 9pts and we will be 2nd !!

We will beat Hull quite easily  Thumb up the big question is can we beat Preston  Huh

I can't believe you've given Nuhiu 8 Consilio  Doh surely he was f'ucking shit  Angry he doesn't score and Joao would be a lot better, even if most of us know he's not, in that position  Angry

Is it 1959 yet ?  Cool

Posted last night but SCO while formatting it deleted it by mistake.

Thought Jackos summary was a good and succinct one.

Brentford started a little stronger but once they went down to10 there was only one team in it. In spite of a few wayward passes we always looked in complete control. What a difference in skill and technique compared to the last game I saw at S6 where Watford clobbered us and we had the likes of on loan Hope on the wing looking completely clueless.
For me having Bannan is imense. It's like there's three of him on the field since he' s always near the play and looking for the ball and he knows exactly what he's going to do with it next before he gets it. God knows how we managed to get him on a free and he should definitely be playing for Scotland it he summer.
Nuhui is a strange thing - he's never going to score loads of goals yet his presence  distracts the opposites enough to let the others score and he has occasional brilliances of link up play. Some sat around me said his 30 mins against Birmingham was the best while at the club.
I thought FF lost the ball quite a lot yesterday but the good thing is that he always chases back and helps recover it so we can start over.
Everyone was glad Joao got on the score sheet since he has been lacking confidence and if he has it back for the run in its yet another threat we have.
Mc Geady is potentially another Hooper - not yet match fit  or fully familiar with CC's plans but may well rip a few defences a new one towards the end of the season.
I met up with MS and his son during lunch and then had a much longer chat after the game while waiting for the crowds and traffic to clear.  We both got to see Hoopers box which happens to be next door to Westwoods box and we had a picture taken in front of them which may appear on here at some point.
Hirsty and madden we're circulating and I got my picture with Hirsty and had him sign my program.

At this point I can't see us not making the playoffs and i think we are still in with an outside chance of auto if we manage to beat Hull and Brighton along the way.

I can't compete with the thoroughness of the MS reports so will leave that to him for a bit later.

All in all a fantastic day out and even my mother in law enjoyed her first football game ( but I don't think she would have liked the traditional pre match boozer and fish and chips on the corner version quite as much)

Onwards and upwards and what a great time to be an Owls supporter. Well done DC and CC !!!!

It was a good game yesterday. Yes the sending off helped, however, we struggled against their ten men earlier in the season. Yesterday, we were ruthless and worked so hard to win the ball back if we lost it. Some great performances and good goals. 4 goals at home... and 4 different scorers! I love our new Wednesday... much better than the mind numbing footy of last season! For me, I love the team spirit and work rate. They fight for each other (seeing Semedo run on to congratulate Joao was great). I love Carlos and his post match interviews, he refuses to be drawn into talk of play offs and autos. It's all about the next game and working on certain elements to improve further. And in Forest's interview, he thanks his team mates and still wants to work hard to get better!! There is a definite buzz around SWFC, long may it continue. The quality of the football is SO much better. Although I can't make every game, I will the there for the Saturday games to cheer the team on!

Westwood 8 Little to do but a good save early on

Hunt 7 solid and good link up play in attack
Lees 7 solid and looked in command of the defense (must keep him fit)
Sasso 7 has fitted in well.
Pudil 8 the best left back we have had for ages

Wallace 7 Not his best game but linked up well
Lee 8 A fantastic engine and battled well... good goal
Bannan 9 Carlos's conductor! involved all over the pitch
FF 9 worked hard and links up well with Hooper and Nuhiu

Nuhiu 8 A man mountain who cause problems. Great work rate and link up play. Needs a goal
Hooper 9 Stunning volley for our second

McGeady 7 Once fully fit, will be a great addition
McGugan 6 Didn't make much impact
Joao 7 On for 10 mins but scored. Good for his confidence

Come on Wednesday!! Keep this momentum going

Will someone help me out? Isn't it the team that scores the most goals that wins? And isn't it the role of a striker to provide those goals? And when ffs was the last soddin time that Nuhiu scored? Huh

No  more he links up well, gives them space, holds the ball up, is a presence and all of that shite. Doh

Simple question: When did he score? Huh

You're all fed up with me banging on about it because I'm the only one now that even imre has bought into all that mumb jumbo that can see it. Doh

And yes, maddix, it would have been just as relevant a question back in 1959 or 1909 as it is now. Thumb up

Again, because I know you're going to give me a load of technical carp and slagging off: When did Nuhiu the striker last score a goal? Huh
