If there were any positives from that its that Matias, McGugan and Turner got a game in, we are going to need them in the run in this season. Up to the first 11 to pick us back up on Tuesday and get a result against Burnley. Burnley played their first team at Arsenal today I think, so maybe we can benefit from that.
Turner got a game and showed us again that hes **** dogshit ??? and we wont benifit from being the laughing stcok of the round ?? **** el charlie are you trying to wind me up more ?? burnley will come away thinking if weve scored at Arsenal then we can score against these muppts who Shrewsbury pissed on !!
Turner and Lees have been our best CH pairing this season until they got injured, he needs game time. We beat Arsenal 3-0, Burnley lost to them but neither game matters. They played their first team and lost, we played our 2nd string team and lost, Tuesdays game will be very different from both. And who cares if other fans are laughing at a "giant killing" by Shrewsbury?? Good luck to them, hope they get the payday they surely need more than we do. Would have loved a good cup run and I know its a cliche but we really can concentrate now on 18 league games to get into the playoffs!!
At last SCO we are on the same page. I didn't want us to lose but I definitely didn't want a draw. And in the grand scheme of things, it doesn't matter. I'm an old guy. I know the game has changed since my day. It is faster paced, not as "clean," and players do get injured more often. Gone are the days when you could name the same eleven game after game. So, yes, I may be a bit over cautious, but I'd hate to see the likes of Hooper, Bannan or Wallace out for several weeks because of a cup game.
Now, to address Maddix's point: the team we fielded should have been able to beat a pub lg team fighting relegation easily. I hope CC doesn't blame the defeat on a bad penalty (or lack thereof) call.
As to McGugan, I've felt for a long while that he should have been part of the squad. He's played well before and not been on the team sheet next game, so don't know what to make of that.

Who else was going to play in goal?? Wildsmith is injured and Westwood has been a creaking gate all season so definitely not playing him, Price was the only option. Joao needs to get back to where he was earlier in the season, I wonder if all the praise went to his head after the Arsenal game??

westwood was not injured today and can play better than price with one arm in a sling ? if you watched the leeds game you would have never played price again and showed him the door ? and im sure CC was blowing smoke up his arse when he said he played well against leeds due to a clean sheet only ?leeds were so piss poor we could have played bob bolder in the net at the age of 60 and they still wouldnt have scored ?

We certainly learnt a few things today.
1. Magugan and Semedo still have plenty to offer. Magugan is a match winner and Semedo sets an example to all with his drive and determination.
2. Sougou is shit. Absolute dog shit. Get rid and quickly.
3. Turner has had it. He's way past his best. His wages could be much better spent elsewhere.
4. Bennett did ok but can't defend. He was recently voted in Aston Villa's worst ever side.
5. Joao is a long, long way off the finished article. He hasn't had a decent game in ages.
6. What is the point in having Bus in the match day squad when we never bring him off the bench. Either play him, or get rid. It's fine having squad players but they do have to play at some point.
7. WTF has happened to Dielna and Melo. If they are still injured get rid, if not then they clearly don't feature in CC's plans. Get rid.
8. Without decent service, Hooper might as well not be on the pitch.
9. I hate lacklustre performances. Some of them out there today didn't give 100%. Palmer and Sasso spent most of the match strolling around and giving the ball away. I can't go to the Burnley game on Tuesday and I'm glad because these set of wankers have really pissed me off today. It's alright CC jumping up and down on the touch line, he picked the fuckers!
And to round off a nice 10 - Price is a joke. I'd rather play Dawson and see if he's got it, because Price hasn't.

BULLSHIT !! and CC wants **** for this !! and players like turner should be shown the **** door !! hes garbage !!
Not sure what you are getting at with the Fulham game?? In the last round against them we played the following team:
Sheff Wed
28Wildsmith
2Palmer
5Loovens
24Sougou
36Pudil
21López
20Lee
23Sasso
41Bannan
18Lucas João
33Wallace
If we had had McGugan, Matias, Turner and Bennett available for that I am sure they would have played as well. Aside from Hooper we rested the whole first team, and we would have done against Fulham as well. We are getting 4/5 players back to fitness, giving them a run out and McGugans goals were positives from today but tthe fact our first team will be fresh on Tuesday is also maybe a bigger positive than anything. Of course they now have to turn up and perform to justify all this but it does give us a better chance to get back above Brum and pick up essentially 2 points on them in the process!!

Stop for a second and think about it though, Westwood has had a bunch of niggly injuries all season that has kept him out of games, like the L**ds one, so with Wildsmith also injured if CC had played Westwood and he had aggravated one of his niggles, then we are right up shit creek with Price as our No1 for the league games that we need to win!!!
The team put out today should have been good enough to win today, they didn't do the job and some of them will not see the first team again because of it but lets not go over the top about it!!! We learnt a few things today that will help the squad for the rest of the season and we gave the first team a rest. As Consilio said I don't get why Bus wasn't brought on to replace Hooper though!

Im getting at bannan lee and wallace played thats our first team midfield ? we played a game with a complete second string midfield and if consilios right then Hooper didnt get the service hence we dont score ? barry im happy with but sougoo after watching him against borro that was enough for me ? hes lazy and made of pencil lead !! and price played against leeds because we had no choice today we did have a choice either westwood or the young lad ffs !! and no it shouldnt have been good enough as these players never play with each other all at once ? it was xxxx suicide in a cup game throwing xxxx basla boys turner and matiass in there to start the game ? cc should have rested a few and played the first team got the goals we should have had against a pub team gone in at ht with game set and match and then put the bobbar on !! cc fcuked right up today he hasnt learned a thing from that borro defeat or a thing from price and that other borro defeat or a thing about Turner being on the lines of darren purse with one foot ? hes stepping on his own thin ice and hes making it not anyone else hes not very good at gambling point should have been proven against borro ? and if he keeps up this little tinkerman gamble then the ice will break as chansiri will sack him by the end of next season if we are still here which from what ive seen recently we will be !!
http://www.bbc.com/sport/football/353890...name=sport there you go the laughing has started !! peiowl you complete knobhead and twat !
