Could be a good signing but I think a midfield of him, Fletcher and Yacob would be quite defensive. Hopefully we're in for at least one winger or attacking midfielder.

Trouble is Latecomer, although both South American, they won't even speak the same language. Rondon from Spanish speaking Venezuela while coming from Brazil, Sandro would speak Portuguese.

Spose they could try sign language though !

A solid signing to give us height and power in midfield that we have lacked these last few years.

Hopefully a new winger will be next.

Wahbi Khazri is on his way to Sunderland in an £8.5m deal, Bordeaux confirm http://tlks.pt/YAj8Hq  #SAFC

To be fair Norwich's wage bill was half of yours prior to this window and Bournemouth's was even lower than that, so they have much more room to add to the squad now they are in the prem.  Sunderlands is about the same as yours and Newcastle's is a bit higher but their revenue is much bigger than yours is so again they have more space left to get new players in.

To my mind getting in Rondo is not as exciting to me as you guys make out, yes i hope he comes off well in the team, however he has played only 11 times this year, and has found it hard to get into the team - QPR - and by his own admission hasn't played well this season or most of last either.
And as for TP asking Harry Rednapp shall I or shall i go for him - says it all. Still good luck to him if he signs.

I wonder what other suprises we might get by the 1st - i dread to think.
