Huddersfield vs Charlton

5-0. FIVE!!!!! Brilliant result, although half-expected. 10 points above the drop-zone, but more importantly only 13 points off the play-off places. Aspirations for top-half finish, but maybe even better.   Smile

Johnnie jackson posted on twitter that they are going to refund the fans who traveled tonight

also rumors that Charlton have sacked their manager

Town have earned 16 points since wagner took over 10 games ago, previously we have earned 15 in 16 games , 15 of them under Powell.

i know its still early days but if we can continue the way we are, i think a top half finish is certainly achievable

Brilliant result to carry on the confidence and belief already installed in the squad/fans, no doubts it will be a good top half finish.................Liverpool will be thinking they got the wrong German before long

Great result and what a massive difference it makes to our goal difference. I wouldn't say we were excellent last night but I'd describe it as a professional performance. Good to see goals coming from all over the pitch as well rather than relying on Nahki Wells all the time

Great result and significant that we win against a team that's struggling so convincingly. The sort of game that would often have been a banana skin in the past. He's really instilled belief into them, it would seem, and the players have bought into it - which is massively to their credit. UTT !

Just worked hard did the right things and against a poor opponent it was an easy night eventually, DW able to make subs when he pleased to keep Huddy / Dolly fresh for what will be a harded game on Saturday.

Felt for the 166 Charlatons who travelled, not a peep out of them except the 'how shit must you be its only 2-0' chant which soon back fired, their keeper was crap, we simply didnt allow them any time, Hogg immense in that spoiling and pressing role ( perhaps Dempsey back in training keeping him on his toes) same for Smith n Rolf Davidson both have others wanting their slots so healthy competition allover the park.

Pity about the crowd sub 10k - yes its Jan, cold and Cat C proper pricing but although we hear and feel the place is turning around the numbers again dont quite bear that out, still a work in progress for Deano to bring back long lost supporters.

Great win, goal diff took a healthy reduction and confident we can now crack on and give the upper half a real shot.

Think the fans will start coming back in time. If the season ticket prices drop that will help this. It could be the fact that fans have other things that stop them now, situations change. Also charlton isnt a glamour fixture and people will wait for a team of better quality.

I think coach is a very overstated description for this guys capabilities!!  He was a baffling choice in the first place and has proved the pundits right!!

Fans do need to start backing up the performances and supporting the lads, lot of armchair town fans around for sure. I get to all London games and quite a few other away games but only about 4-5 home games a season as hudds is 3 hour drive for me and my old man and so home game numbers only increases if we are doing really well. We are making the trips up to Blackburn and Derby though and have done Bolton this season too so we've gota give deano all the support he deserves with the best decision so far he's made as chairman.
