Match Thread - Fulham v SWFC
Hooper was outstanding as was Sasso.

Nuhiu had his best game in ages and Wallace continues to impress.

Wiggins, Semedo, Sougou, Joao, Lopez and Magugan will all be hoping to feature in the cup game. I'd play them all.

Id play them and give the accademy lads a chance like that star weve got who plays 11 cant remember his name ? also Frank beltra is hes fit ? we should realy give these lads a chance and if they win through then keep playing them in the cup ? but we should not risk any first team player in any round of this cup as we have seen what happened in the carling league rumbelows mickey mouse cup thingy !! hope Carlos learned a lesson from this !!!

Agree except for joao. This is one game where i don"t give a toss about us winning but one in which injuries can occur. Remember the League cup when cc fielded a strong team and several players got injured. Nuhiu should play this game. All 90 minutes.

The team for next week should primarily made up from bench warmers plus a couple of first team players but even if we get a plum tie, we should stick with same team. Something like:

Wildsmith
Palmer - Sasso - Dielna - Wiggins
Semedo - Lopez - Helan
Sougou - McGugan
Joao

Jaoa needs the game time Peiowl !! he also needs to find the back of the net again .. id go for what ms picked !! but i would like to see at least 2 young lads on the bench from the accademy and given at least 20 minutes each infront of the kop !! we need to blood the youngsters through quicker and the Facup is a something what these yound lads dream about !! not the carling mickey pikey wickey shity wankbag cup !!!

The lad i mentioned whom i cant remember his name plays 11 is a real talent and we might never find out what he can do at this level for us if hes never tried out ?? most just carry on cleaning boots untill they get fed up and move to the pub leagues when there out of contract !! its a shit way to handle talent !! and all should at least have 20 minutes on the pitch in the season !! it should be a xxxx rule infact !! it is in mexico and if you dont abide you are deducted points and you get a tranfer embargo !! everyone abides and the league is full of youngsters and the national side always punches above its weight becuase of this !! can you imagine if all of the premier clubs and championship clubs had to do this ? and how many talents like rooney and beckham could be found and not thrown away without even getting a first team start !!

Maybe you are thinking of Jack Stobbs, who is 18 now but has been dogged by injuries for 18 months.

In truth, our Development team are pretty average even against other SBC & L1 Development teams and there aren't stand out players after the keepers. Hirsty's lad, George Hirst is good in his peer group and is playing up an age group but he would be destroyed at first team level.

Think we have to be pragmatic and have some of our stars on the bench and only use them if we suffer injuries or for tactical reasons.

dont see the point of winning the game though ms we will only get a big boy in the end and burn out like we did against Stoke !! and promotion out of this league now seems possible , so again not worth the risk of an extra midweek game ? and playing bloody Fulham there is every chance of a draw with the master draw specialist SG !!

If we lose we could also get a rest some saturday down the line which may or may not help depending on the suspensions and injurys when if it came around ? again sometimes a game in hand helps ? sometimes it doesnt ? but it gives you an option !!
