Bolton have been up shit creek for years; I'm amazed it's taken this long for their debt to catch up with them.

Bolton's only chance to avoid admin is to find a new investor or owner before the winding up order becomes due. Their owner, Eddie Davies, has agreed to completely wipe off all the 170m debt that is solely owed to him but he has stated he will not put any more money into the club, even to pay off the winding up order!! Of course their situation on the field is dire as well and they are likely heading to the Pub League anyway, but admin would bring with it a 12 point deduction and certain relegation.
Bolton are old school though in terms of their debt, most of the smaller clubs in the prem are not racking up the debts like we used to see. Teams like yourselves, Norwich, Swansea, Watford, Leicester etc are not getting into crazy debt but are trying to use the Sky money to survive instead of loans. Of course most of these teams will sooner or later likely face a relegation battle but at least they should be better equipped to deal with relegation than we have seen from the likes of Bolton, Blackburn, Portsmouth and QPR who struggled with the debt and reduced revenues.

Immortalised in Lego??
I thought he was MADE of Lego ![]() ![]() Defender Liam Ridgewell, 31, - currently on loan at Brighton - has been such a success in Major League Soccer with Portland Timbers that he has been immortalised in Lego. http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/footb...26461.html

Didn't know Graham Dorrans was now at Rangers.
IMHO a fabulous player that never quite realised his true potential
