It's a load of bollocks, 3 from 15 is shite and it's gonna get worse, selling out top players year in year out shows to everyone else we are nothing but a shop, Hoyle thinks he's still buying cards from China, buy small sell big, it's all a pisstake and at the moment I am truly hacked of with Town and Hoyle.
A ton of ambition to get us out of league one and xxxx all ambition since getting us out of there........................total bollocks

A severe lack of ambition at the club and a board that repeatedly send the messages out that we and when I say we I mean the players are not good enough and have to over achieve. What kind of message is that to send to the players
Powell has had exactly 46 League games in charge now and his record is as follows
P46 W12 D18 L16 F52 A62 Pts 54
More worrying is the record over the last 23 games of that record
P23 W4 D12 L7 F25 A34 Pts 24
We are going backwards and selling off our best players, gone are Butterfield,Coady and Smithies for a minimum of £7.5million and in replace we have Whitehead(free), Dempsey(£350k) and a Murphy(free) in goals who provided Smithies with no competition at all last season.
Also gone and off the wages since January are..
Gerrard,Ward,Peltier,Gobern,Paterson,Stead ,Dixon and Hammill...all decent wages.
Who've we replaced them with..
Davidson(free),Hiwula(undisclosed and since loaned out after 25mins of game time) Crainie(free) and 3 loan signings in the past 7 days
Surely we have money to spend, Dean is quoted as saying Butterfield wanted out from the moment the first bid came in, so why weren't we actively looking for his replacement at that point.

Have we turned a profit on any of the free/bosman signings we've made under Dean Hoyle?

I must admit that as a Town fan of more years than I care to remember, I've never been as depressed as I feel right know with the total lack of foresight and ambition from the top down.
It must be soul destroying for Powell who has to take all the flack for our recent run of poor results, when really it's all down Hoyle's blinkered view on how to run a football club.
Since Hoyle has now obviously decided that he's pumped enough of his brass into Town, I just wish he'd make every effort to sell out and give someone with a bit more ambition a chance, otherwise it's back to being a "Yo-Yo" club.

I'm singing from the same hymn sheet as you Mirf.
I've said for ages that the negative attitude that Dean slates the fans for starts at the very top. The ambition of the club amounts to avoiding relegation, that's all well and good but with the price of watching Town reaching record highs the supporters demand a bit more positive thinking at least.
Dean is stated as saying we set to lose £2million this season so why did we need to sell all three of Coady,Smithies and Butterfield....come to think of it why did we sell Smithies, the lad didn't want to go...he was pushed.
Why did we not look for Butterfields replacement 2 weeks ago when he said he didn't want to play for us anymore, funny how this excuse crops up time and again..could it be the clubs lack of ambition has a part to play in it. Come to think of it Rhodes didn't want to play for us but we still made him stay a further 8months.
How is Powell supposed to get by on the shoestring that Dean has provided, free transfers and past it players(Whitehead/Ameobi?) and now it sounds like Vaughan has thrown the teddy out with club as well.
So come on Dean, change the transfer policy and stop selling off the prize assets and build a team around the star players(what's left of them)

It isn't often the bookies are wrong and I see they now have Town down as second favourites for the drop behind Rotherham.
Having said that, I read in today's Examiner that Hoyle states "selling key players will continue to be a central part of the clubs blueprint for long term progress" - someone should ask him how it's possible to achieve this long term progress, whilst selling off all your best assets?
Is he serious, or is he just taking the piss out of all our loyal fans?

Lolley gone on loan to Sunny Scunny - is Robins nicking our team one player at a time? What was it Powell said about him and Scanz last night? Need another sub for my PFP's.

He looked really bright when he came on and got us on the front foot and the fans out of their seats. Hopefully this loan gives him some first team football as he hadn't had any first team action in a highly competitive league before us. I think carayol might go back in Jan if he keeps putting in performances. Very hit and miss, but if he delivers I suspect Karanka will want him for the run-in after Christmas. Also, Shite goal to concede but its quietly pleasing how much better our defence looks. Even if Lynch contrives to do his best to give a goal away every game.
