If someone makes a bid Allan is gone. What else was he going to say on tv, he is contracted to Hibs, and nobody has made an offer. Then again Stubbs could be trying to drum up some interest

Stubbs recent interview on Hibs tv refutes your unqualified last comment out of hand. I'm impressed by the manager's up front summary of Allan's positive position within the club and the player himself has just restated his happiness re his resurrected career at Easter Road Stadium and his enjoyment of the craic and good interaction with players, fans etc. He's been treated very well and why shouldn't he confirm he's settled in the current situation. He's playing at a very good football club and I hope he's part of a successful Hibs campaign next season in the Championship and in at least one of the cups, preferably the Scottish Cup.

Straight from the gossip pages - Hibernian have told midfielder Sam Stanton, who has been linked with Dundee, and striker Danny Handling that they are free to look for new clubs. (Daily Express) and former Hibernian captain Liam Craig, who has been released by the Easter Road club, has rejected an offer from Dinamo Bucharest and is poised to sign for Conference club Guiseley.
