YOUTH CONTRACT NEWS

Released: Alex Jones, Bradley Garmston, Mani O'Sullivan, Wez Atkinson

One-year option taken up: Adil Nabi, Liam O'Neil, Donervorn Daniels

Professional contracts offered: Alex Palmer (GK, 18); Kyle Howkins (CB, 18); Callum Jones (CB, 19); Danny Barbir (CB, 17); Ethan Ross (GK, 18); Zak Elbouzedi (MF, 17); Robbie McCourt (LB, 17); Shaun Donnellan (ST, 18)

I'm guessing next season will be last-chance saloon for O'Neil, Nabi and Daniels to break into the first team. Wonder how much of a chance they'll be given?

Also, just a quibble, I've noticed the OP lists Scott Allan as a former Academy player, which isn't the case; we signed him from Dundee Utd as a professional player already on a senior contract.

Yeah you are right Ska'd. I haven't updated the OP in months, I will get around to it later in the summer as its a bit of a mess atm  Blush

Pinch of salt, he's training with them and other than the sub headline there doesn't seem to be a suggestion that he'll play for them as he's outside the proper 23 man squad, still he must be a prospect, I can see him near our team in about 3 years.

I've seen it. Lovely lob from just by the centre-circle. Not too dissimilar to one Brunt scored at Middlesbrough around 2009.

don't know if that will work or not, never tried to put a link on here before. Yes, a bit like Brunty's, Ska'd, but a great touch to bring it under control first.
