This season's home matches all merge into one. There were no good wins & just a couple of bad defeats. After that, it was mainly draws or games decided by the odd goal.
The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy.

We all agree he is a nice chap, but its irrelevant. We could have a complete bastard as manager, but if he won almost every game, would we be averse to it?
Does SG deserve a pop with money? No, not really in my humble.. If he couldn't show his capabilities with a smaller, but still decent squad. Then why does he 'deserve' a chance to waste money? Some games we deserve to win, and come away with sweet FA.
In fact, his insistence on hammering square pegs in to round holes, as he leaves round pegs on the bench often makes me wonder if the man is delightfully mad.
He certainly did a good job taking over from DJ. He stopped the leaky defence and he will always be given his credit. I believe, at this stage the longer he stays as manager the more detrimental it will be. And as MS says it will only delay progress.
Good coach, poor manager.

I sit in the corner to the South, but I wear my ski coat, which is like a sleeping bag, that and 4 pints helps me keep warm and nod off!

You can always have a drink out of my flask, the one I keep full of scalding hot tea so I can boil my knob without leaving my seat on the Kop.You'll know where I'm sat, just look out for the steam.Oh and if you can bring me a Mars bar whilst you're at it. It's a lot more fun than watching the xxxx shite served up on the pitch.
Nothing changes,again.
