THE LAST MATCH
Another boring game by all accounts which we probably deserved to win but hardly showed the quality to do so!!! Having said that we went ahead in the 86th minute and against a poor Huddersfield team that should have seen the three points wrapped up, but we were unable to hold onto the lead for even 3 minutes and ended up with a draw!!!!! Putting teams away when we have the chance is definitely something that needs to be sorted next season!! One positive was Bus getting his first goal for the club, that is good to see!!
No video as its not been posted anywhere so I thought I would simply stick up a video of Charlie Adam scoring for Stoke at Stamford Bridge from about 60 yards out!!!
THE MATCH - MON 6TH APRIL 2015 15.00 GMT
Oh Fluck, now we have to travel to arguably our hardest away game of the season, down to Norwich. I like Norwich, my mum is from Norfolk so have always had a soft spot for them but I also admire them as a club!! They always seem to do things the right way, and seem to have always done so, still I always want to beat them!!
This will be the 51st meeting between the teams and our record is W22 D14 L14, so we do have a decent record against them. They are currently on good form and find themselves in 3rd place just one point off the auto spots and two points off the top place!! For me they have to be favorites to grab one of those two places!! This is a game that should see us get hammered on current form, but we have not lost to them in the last 10 games, winning 8 of them, so history tells us that this is actually the easiest game of the season for us!!!!
Earlier in the season we fought out a dull 0-0 draw in a game I can remember absolutely nothing about!! So I watched this video and it was one of those games where we appeared to do very little aside from Westwood making a number of top draw saves!!
CLASSIC MATCH
Last match of the season, a game we needed to win to stay in the Championship. We went behind early but goals from Deon Burton (2), Ben Sahar and Leon Clarke saw us run away 4-1 winners in front of the highest crowd in the whole championship that season of 36,208!! This match was also memorable for it being Dion Dublins last professional game and when he was subbed just afte the hour he received a rousing ovation from both sets of supporters. Classic stuff!!
