Saw that Drewks, sounds like a great signing, read somewhere fee of £525,000. I thought that seemed cheap when a figure of £2 million had been mentioned but a great price if true.
Hope is resurrected and looking forward to the rest of the season with renewed vigour

Talk of an improved offer for Will Keane from Preston

It would seem we are inexorably moving towards selling Tom Fellows which, for me, would be a huge blow. I don’t get the impression that he wants to leave (although I’m sure he’d be offered a substantial increase in his salary) but rather it’s another injection of capital to sort out the sh*t show left by the previous owner. Let’s face it, if he goes to Southampton he’ll probably play against us next season

I have to give this some legs to this as a newly promoted club they need prospects like Tom, reasonably priced in Premiership terms, but has the potential to be a revelation, personally I don't think he is quite ready for the step up, though he is very close. In all honesty I'll be disappointed if he goes he goes, but if he stays, I have to think it is just delaying the inevitable, as I think we can all see he has something special. I think the most important bit of any deal for him, is a stupid sell on clause, as I can see him at big money in the near future and if you look at a much smaller valued player like O'Shea, we sold him for £7million, he is now moving again for a deal worth £20 million, OK we stand to make a £1 million out of it, but it could have been more. I see future Fellow's sales with the potential of making £20 million, look like pocket change, I see a player who has the potential to be better than the likes of Raheem Sterling in his heyday, if he keeps his feet on the ground. I have always prided myself in the ability to see future top players, some on here might remember calling me a bit daft (nicely), when I was suggesting we should put a big bid (up to £500,000 if memory serves) in for a young 16 year old lad at Blues named Jude Bellingham. I think we would all be gutted to see Fellows go...

It's something I expected to happen as he's our only player with any value and we know our financial position. I think a lot of teams would've liked more time to look at him, but the way he's started the season will convince a few to go for him now, worried his price will rise.

For me, I think it's too early to know if he will become Premier League class, so if we get £12-£15m, it could end up being a good deal in the long term. At the same time, if he develops, it could go the other way.

From a personal point of view, if we used some of the money to sign Mikey Johnston it would soften the blow and still enable us to bank a significant amount. I read earlier that he's signing for Sheffield United for £2.5m, which if true, seems like small change for a player of his ability. I'd be gutted if Fellows went for £15m and we couldn't afford to compete for Johnston at that price.

Looking like it’s getting closer with Fellows. I think if we get 15 million, it should sort our financial position in one fell swoop.

It would be nice to keep him, but if 15 million happens, then how can we refuse. If it’s 10 million, keep him, and see how many are sniffing round come January.

We need to make sure there is a good sell on clause.

Plus we can bring Johnston back at £3 million, and sounds like personal terms have already been agreed.

If that is the case it sounds like both deals will happen, we will see tomorrow or Friday.

Rumours of Jed going as well.
If Tom and Jed go and Mikey comes back, we'll be overloaded on the left and have no right winger.

Latest from Birmingham post is that Mikey’s coming back and Fellows/Wallace are staying. I hope this is true, if so it’s been as good a transfer window as we’ve had in many years

Looks like Fellows is on his way to Ipswich!!!
If it’s true, poor decisions all round. He’ll be back in Championship next season, and probably playing against us as yet another departure highlights a lack of ambition.
It’s not as if he wants to go ffs.
