HoHoHoddersfield v PNE and Rotherham Xmas special
#11
I’ve heard numerous things in the past week.

From he’s getting the chop to we can’t afford to sack him.

We’re trying to force certain players out of the club, you don’t need to be Sherlock Holmes to figure out who.

We’ve no money to sign anyone.

Our 2 owners are squabbling like school kids over the share issue while the club slips towards the wall financially, all the while we have potential buyers from over the pond waiting in the wings with a deadline for them to get their act together.

As for the football, I don’t see anything changing. I’ll watch the PNE game from the comfort of my sofa and if we lose lose as expected I think all 5 of us who go together will probably choose the same option for the Rovrum game.

Apathy has well and truly set in.

It’s just like when Dean first took over and we’re going full circle

Quote:Unfortunately Danny Ward is not involved in today’s squad due to a back issue, so Jordan Rhodes comes into make his 200th appearance for the Club in all competitions.

The second switch sees David Kasumu return from his Achilles injury to start, with Etienne Camara dropping to the bench.

Duane Holmes is back in the squad too, and starts in place of Brahima Diarra. The French teenager is also among the subs this afternoon. Today is Duane’s 100th league appearance for the Terriers.

Our fourth and final change sees Kaine Kesler-Hayden start in place of Sorba Thomas, who is not in today’s match day 18.

Alongside Ward, Fotheringham is without Ollie Turton (ankle), Luke Mbete (illness), Matty Pearson (foot), Tino Anjorin (ankle), Pat Jones (hamstring) and Yuta Nakayama (Achilles)

Sorba missing with no explanation. Another one heading down to Baggieland?

Apparently, he's off to Watford for six million.

I can't speyk!

Preston's defence looks vulnerable. Should be level but for an air kick by KKH. Doh

Get Spencer on at half time. Run at them, they'll shat their sens.

Going out on a limb here. We will win this in the second half.

Quote:We haven't won there since 1969 when two goals from Frank Worthington and one from Jimmy Lawson gave us a 3-1 victory. That was under the management of Ian Greaves in the 2nd Division Championship winning season. Since then Bobby Collins, Mick Buxton, Eoin Hand, Ian Ross, Lou Macari, Simon Grayson, David Wagner, Danny Cowley and Carlos Corberán have all led Town teams to Deepdale and landed in deep do do, with none of them managing to get a Town victory. Can Mark Fotheringham finally break that hoodoo?

Yes he can. Smartass
