The club you are contracted with has strikers injured, can't get goals for toffee and are looking at two Division One and one Championship striker and are not even giving you a sniff of 15 minutes game time.

Regarding Bandon Thomas-Asante's abilities, you have to think the scouts and everyone after, who has had anything to with this signing, must have thought, "We are not bringing in an establish player, who if they don't perform, it will be their fault, not ours.
"We are bringing in a youngish player from a much lower level with real no track record worth considering". We must be sure of our facts or the stick we will take will be enormous. We will be ridiculed and look like fools who don't know what we are doing, which we obviously won't".

My point is, you would have to be pretty sure, he can cut it. To risk bring someone up from such a lower level, putting your reputation on the line. They must really see something. So Fools, Optimists or genius's only time will tell, but I have a good feeling looking at some of the vids.
