I realised a long time ago that gambling is a mugs game and the only person who ends up rich is the bookie Cool

I now only bet £1 each way on the National once a year as it's sort of a family tradition and that's it Thumb up

And no, I have never been addicted or owt I just have better things to spend my cash on Cool

I could have made a mint if I'd done a Yankee on that lot and lumped on but if it had gone tit's up I could also have been old mother hubbard. I'd rather keep my money in the bank tin under the floor boards Wink

The daughter won 70 quid though by following my advice and backing Italy Cool

That’s about my level of gambling too. Whenever I’ve been to Vegas I play the 1 or 5 cent slots and take advantage of the free drinks they bring around when you’re in one spot. It still works out a lot cheaper

than going to the bar. Once a Yorkshireman always a Yorkshireman !!
