Ismael is very much the one we want. Take no notice of his direct style of play as he says I will play the style that suits the players I inherit. But we will be super fit and will press high. So he himself says he is adaptable, well now we wait and see if this comes off.

It's quite clear that his Barnsley style is based off the players that he has. His Nürnberg and Wolfsburg sides played positive football before they went wrong and from what I've read, so did his Linz team.
The only worry I have about him is that he doesn't stay at places for long. He averages about a year at a club before moving on or being let go.

Don't care what you say......but I'd still go for Gareth Southgate.

Had a call from the club today asking if I still had my F.A Basic Injuries Certificate I said yes and they asked if I would like to go and have a chat about the gaffers job, though apparently Ken was worried I was better qualified than either him or the owner so I said no.

If the Ismael manager doesn’t come to fruition, the Albion are also rumoured to be in talks with Marco Silva as a fall back option.
Hope Ismael does come off but it’s a decent option in Silva who looked good at both Hull and Watford fell a part a bit at Everton but still only 43.
These options seam better to me than like Dowling putting all eggs in one basket Wilder and getting stung, then having no proper back up plan.

Marco Silva has been my first choice all summer so I'm happy to see him now linked.
