Halifax lad like me also theo.
Used to live next door to one of his many girlfriends back in the day. She told me a few stories about his young free and single days. Not for the faint hearted.
I remember playing against one of his nephews in some West Riding U16 cup thingy. The lad tore a strip out of me. Best player on the pitch by miles. Some cracking footballing family he came from.

He was a relic of a byegone age and, as Amelia says, not a lifestyle to be celebrated anymore. Still, that doesn't detract from his unquestionable footballing talent, a showman on and off the pitch.
