January 2021 transfer news - who's in and who's out?

Birmingham City officials raise their bid for Nisbet to £3M!!! Hibs clearly "holding out" for more money but not much time to compensate for both defensive and forward losses unless they already have last min targets as part of a contingency measure in the event of these deals being brokered.

I gather Hibs have rejected that £3M bid - a curious position! More action to follow or is that the end of it?

Breaking news - Nisbet wants away but I'm picking up mixed messages re who wants his services. It seems that Sheffield United are suddenly interested in signing him and could be what has changed the striker's mind plus a £4M fee!? Hibs also lining up a move for Lawrence Shankland as Dundee United are cash-strapped and need welcome revenue, a six-figure transfer fee being mooted. Watch this space eh!!

Looking at Colin Hendrys son apparently, pretty poor if true as he can't even get in the St Johnstone team.

Nisbet deal off!! So lets assume Hibs interest in Shankland dissipates or could it be the case that Hibs couldn't get him as a replacement at this current time?

I'm a wee bit disappointed that Jamie Gullan is off to Kirkcaldy on loan once again. Obviously way down the pecking order at Easter Road.

Only an hour to go before the deadline, so will there still be time for a dramatic announcement?

Nisbet apparently handed in a transfer request to try and force the move through. I fear we may have an unhappy player on our hands.

Rocky leaving Hibs in the summer and not wanting to renew his contract. Now that could pose a problem and I hope Hibs resolve it as I don't wanna return to the bad old days of enduring Hibs unreliable goalies and recurring goalie gaffes. I couldn't initially think of any goalie who really "flies out in my face" as a perfect replacement. However, after a brief perusal of goalies playing in Scot footie I reckon Dundee United's Swiss goalie, Siegrist, could be a good fit for Hibs. Another possible target could be Saint Johnstone's goalie, Clark, who is a fairly reliable goalie. Other than those two, I suspect Hibs may well look at the English footie leagues or possibly even go abroad in search of the right man. It looks like this could be a challenging close season in the summer as they could well be losing quite a few players. We can only wait n see how many we eventually lose.

I like Rocky but does have his faults. His kicking can be a lottery and at times he doesn't dominate his box enough. Shot stopping is fine.

I'd like to see what the back story is with Arsenal over Macey and whether we could put a contract together as I understand Arsenal aren't having him back?

Dabrowski is still on the scene and so could be time for him to step up?

The Siegrist guy looks good but will take a big move to take him from Tannadice apparently..............believe Celtic are looking at him plus I suspect some teams down South.

Bogdan unhappy apparently back in Hungary but would he want to come back?

As usual with all things transfer it depends on finances and how much the powers at Hibs want to pay.

Siegrist would be an excellent signing. Has always impressed me times I've saw him.

Sad to see Marciano go, over the piece I think he has been a decent hibs goalie.
