Well he said he was going to make changes. What a strange decision.
Were these the players happiest to play out a 0-0 draw that would quite suit both sides?
They've been working hard in training? And the rest have been doing what? We needed to reward Weir with a game, er for why ........ he's leaving in four games time. Fortune needed the game time after all he's nearly as old as James Cracknell. McKay needed some game time so we might get to sign some of his dad the agent's players ....... if of course dad stays out of jail despite Neil Warnock's best efforts. Kiwomya's 15 minutes will have put him right for .... what exactly ....... the poor guy's next injury? Doncaster Rovers? And of course Joe Anyon needed a clean sheet ...... for why .... to attract passing planes?
I'm not against changes ...... in fact I love changes ......... but if we were treating a game as if it barely mattered wouldn't this have been the start of a run of games in which Luke Rawson and Levi Amantchi could have started building up for next season? Maybe Jamie Sharman could have featured. As it is we end up with Will Evans risking life and limb diving in to make a goal-saving tackle for a team well-packed with players he'll never see again after this month.
M M M MMMMM Maybe it's me.
