Ch Ch Changes - Devongone - 08-04-2019 Well he said he was going to make changes. What a strange decision. Were these the players happiest to play out a 0-0 draw that would quite suit both sides? They've been working hard in training? And the rest have been doing what? We needed to reward Weir with a game, er for why ........ he's leaving in four games time. Fortune needed the game time after all he's nearly as old as James Cracknell. McKay needed some game time so we might get to sign some of his dad the agent's players ....... if of course dad stays out of jail despite Neil Warnock's best efforts. Kiwomya's 15 minutes will have put him right for .... what exactly ....... the poor guy's next injury? Doncaster Rovers? And of course Joe Anyon needed a clean sheet ...... for why .... to attract passing planes? I'm not against changes ...... in fact I love changes ......... but if we were treating a game as if it barely mattered wouldn't this have been the start of a run of games in which Luke Rawson and Levi Amantchi could have started building up for next season? Maybe Jamie Sharman could have featured. As it is we end up with Will Evans risking life and limb diving in to make a goal-saving tackle for a team well-packed with players he'll never see again after this month. M M M MMMMM Maybe it's me. RE: Ch Ch Changes - Dancingwilldoit - 08-04-2019 I just don't get it. I assume our own youngsters just are no good in his eyes. Maybe he's thinking of retaining some of them but I hope to god not. RE: Ch Ch Changes - Devongone - 09-04-2019 If I were in charge of the league I'd investigate the result, our team selection and a couple of back pockets. Imagine how Havant and Waterlooville would have reacted if they'd won and discovered we'd made seven changes against their main rivals. RE: Ch Ch Changes - spireitematt - 10-04-2019 We are safe so he was given the players a chance to see what they could do in a competitive game. RE: Ch Ch Changes - Devongone - 10-04-2019 Meanwhile Levi Amantchi sat on the bench for Mickleover and Luke Rawson scored for Sheffield. |
