Leicester City?
Thought They Had Changed Their Name To Jamie Vardy And 10 Guests
actually they were not well beaten even though the scoreline suggests it
missed a penalty when 1-0 down
and got caught out on the break when chasing a equalizer to make it 2-2
Barnes played ok
but he still aint a premier league player just yet

Wow - forgotten about him! How old is he now??
Always a 100% player and no mean goal scorer - although maybe not quite in the top division

I hadn't realised until watching final score & soccer Saturday yesterday that there are two new teams in the football league, they are Frank Lampard's Derby County & Paul Scholes' Oldham Athletic!! Where did these two teams come from?

Anyone know who is our most prolific scorer of all time?

I don't mean Bomber necessarily but on the basis of goals per games played!!
Some days I'm top dog, most days I'm just the lamp post.

In December I posted about FC Nürnberg’s protests on a thread about us protesting the football league. Well tonight Nürnberg have struck again.

Tonight they are playing at home to Dortmund (0-0 half-time) and as expected another protest has happened. This time it’s more brash than last time. The ultras are wearing all black, some in bin bags, and are holding black cut-out signs that have a white fist with the middle finger up and chants of “Scheiß DfB” and signs in Germany and English against Monday night football. At Dortmund’s 2 corners in front of the ultras, the ultras chucked black tennis balls onto the pitch to stop play and then chanted “Scheiß DfB” as the balls were being cleared by the players.

I’m actually going to Nürnberg in 9 days for 5 nights (have had it planned for about six months and have always wanted to go) and whilst there I’ll be attending the stadium to watch the home game against RB Leipzig. I hope this behaviour doesn’t mean a ban for the ultras because I’m looking forward to seeing how they are with the black sheep of German football, RB Leipzig.

So Leeds United are fined £200,000 for spying on Derby County during a training session! What a joke! What about the other 16 clubs they admitted spying on? I would have issued a 12 point punishment as a minimum! The football league are as inept as the FA!
