we are saying Bullen untill we find someone Doh there is no point in rushing into some wankbag a manager Whistle and are you not interested in the best striker in England in 5 years time ? because thats what we have and lets face it Hooper Fessi and whoever else will not be here or loyal when the pay cheque comes knocking at the door !! i do remember when we had a 20 goal a year striker no hassle we were in the top flight ? weve looked since then for nearly 20 odd years to no avail ????

Karanka would fit in well i think with the players we have !! moyes can you imagine zzzzzzzzzzzz it would be alan Irvine allover again if we think CC is boring ? fme he takes the biscuit !! and lets face it lambert got lucky his first seasons since then doesnt have any tactics to offer ?

Still Bullen for me !!

I'd take Lambert or Moyes till the end of the season. We need a change, fresh ideas and a new approach and fast. We would have nothing to lose by them in.

While Bullen did well in the 2 games that CC was in the stands, a shake up is needed in all departments.
If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, you need a team....

I think thats half the reason why bullen would be best then! A shake up is needed but by someone who knows what the fans want !! Not some outsider whos only interest is himself .

i actually think the other way Imre. Bullen has been there long enough and if he knows what the fans want as you say it seems he hasn't been able to relate that to CC or maybe he just doesn't know. Every manager is in it for themselves and I wouldn't see Bullen being any different. My concern would be who Bullen has been number 2 too.....learnt his trade from....cc, maybe sg. Nothing to write home about. That's why I think we need an outsider.

Please take this as well-meant from a supporter of the worst team in the country -

UP isn't the only direction available when you change manager.

All managers are perfectly designed to see the game differently from all supporters. They've been trained to see the game in a way we haven't for 20 years or more. We see THEM as stuck in the mud, but the players are undergoing the same training and see things exactly the same way. Occasionally you'll find a manager who really changes things, but mostly it's a like-for-like swap and you might as well have saved yourself the compensation payment. (Two successive play-offs looks brilliant from the standpoint of the Vanarama looming next season.)

I'm with Towinjustonce on the subject of Bullen, he has been around for the whole time that CC has and obviously is either just towing the line or not able to get his message through!! Of course that would assume that his message would be any different to CC's and I am not sure that is the case. If DC decides to pull the plug on Carlos then I think we would be better off with a new set up.

Question is what do we want in terms of type of manager?? We could go for a Lambert who know the Championship and has won promotion from it, or Big Sam who gets his teams organized and hard to beat, but without much flair or a complete unknown such as Kevin Nolan or a foreign manager like Carlos when he came to us. One thing is for sure, with a wealthy owner and a team that on paper should be doing better than it is, there will be a very long list of applicants!!

Devon, you are right, changing managers was what started the rot for us back in the late 90s, the grass isn't always greener. The problem with the Championship is FFP these days, teams that do not have parachute payments from the Prem basically have a 3-4 year window of opportunity to spend money to try to get promotion before it has to be scaled back to avoid transfer embargos etc. We are at least 2 years into that and from what has been said the club will be up against FFP limits in the not too distant future! We are probably maximizing ticket revenues, we cannot charge more than we currently do, we have about 23k season tickets and can't expect that to grow in the Championship and our commercial side will only do so much to add money to the pot. We have spent a decent amount on the squad as we needed to but we cannot expect to see many more expensive signings, so Carlos has to get this team moving or we need to make a change to find someone who can get more out of this group of players - that is the dilemma Chansiri finds himself with!!

This season is fucked as far as Automatic promotion is concerened and a new manager would use the old 5 game excuse and possibly more making the playoffs extinct aswell !! thats anthor reason i want Bullen to get the kob as he wouldnt take so long and lets face it we are not getting any new players this season anyway so he would know whos right for the job untill the time comes ... and he has the balls to win us the playoffs and a derby game at the shithole in january !!

And i dont see where we can blame any of this on Bullen im 100% certain fessi and hirst would walk striaght into his team and perform when not asked to play centerback or goalkeeper i think he would keep it simple and get the best out of the young guns even Joao Thumb up he has praised them tme and time again were as CC when asked about that fantastic goal just bores on about the team and other players Huh yes we need a team game ... sure but players like Fessi need to hear sometimes that they are diamonds its called managment not coaching Doh remember big ron anyone ? he would have walked this league with the amunition weve got Whistle Bullen for me has grown up with these type of managers and played in there teams sturrock was another who got the best of a bag of shit Thumb up passion is winning this league at the moment not star players ...cough the pigs Doh imagine what you could do with both Smartass

hes the man it would be a simple transistion no exscuses and 100% passion Thumb up
