thank god your "ball bag" will get smaller every month

Ball bag will remain the same size Quantum, Beefy will just have fewer balls in than before, but hey, life goes on, we all have handicaps to overcome Sad

Early doors yet, but week 8 points gained have been carried across to the first round of the group stages.

The points from week 12 will be the next set used, which by my reckoning is the weekend of 18th/19th November with another international break the week before.

Strange how the first set of group tables highlights the form of DD, top of the Premiership and also top of Group A  Smartass .

However, it also highlights total ineptitude as well, Beefy bottom of the Championship and also bottom of Group D   Doh .

With the consistency DD has been showing of late, it’s little wonder that he tops the Group table at the halfway stage.
St Charles lost a little ground in 2nd, but did extend his lead by a similar margin to Derby in 3rd, who did likewise over Sanjay in 4th.
In truth the top 4 all still have those top 2 places in their sights, while BBB, although in the positives now, will need a couple of good weeks or a bumper points week and those above him to falter to qualify for the knockout stages.

Very tight at the top in Group B, where Baggieone, courtesy of his blinding week takes over at the top, and Bournemouth moves up a place into a qualifying spot with 2 more weeks of group stages to go.
Snooty despite a 20 point haul had to drop 2 places into 3rd for the time being, although the top 3 are separated by a mere 3 points.
4eva lost top spot in the Championship this week and also dropped a place in the cup league, and along with Salop in 5th, who missed the first round of predictions, will be looking to close the fairly sizeable gap to the top 3.

A new leader in Group C as Zinman, following his best week moves up 2 places into pole position after the second round of games. Amelia sits prettily in 2nd after her second consecutive decent cup predictions.
Twerton suffered the most with a drop of 2 places into 3rd, as those now above and below outscored him, but when the group games come around again there are only 5 points between the top 3.
Worldclass, in 4th, will want another decent week next time around to make any inroads into the deficit that he faces to break into the top 3 or ultimately the top 2.
Matts struggles in the league continue in the cup as well and although getting a fair share of correct results, it’s the all-important big point games that are letting him down.

BaggieVicar recently labelled Group D as the “the Group of death”, and he's certainly being proved right as all 5 are only separated by 14 points at the halfway mark.
Bomber tops the table and has had his 2 best scores of the season on cup weeks which helps, while Stairs drops a place into 2nd despite posting a second consecutive 14 point score.
Lurking ominously in 3rd is Beefy, who proves what a good weeks points score can do for your position after being bottom after the first round of matches, but now only a point off a qualifying spot for the knockout stages.
In 4th just 3 points away is BaggieVicar, followed by Quantum in 5th an identical margin behind, so in reality with a couple weeks remaining any 2 of 5 could qualify for the knock out stages later in the season.

Next Group stage is week 16's set of fixtures Thumb up

Never too late Joker, over to you now, as Beefy would say your comments have been bookmarked for possible future ridicule Tongue
